Seasmoke PR, a Hotel & Resort marketing company, is looking for a motivated, detail-orientated individual to fill a full-time position in our hotel reservations office in Victoria, BC. The Position & Duties Full-time position to start (8-hour days, 4-5 days per week) - potential for full-time employment following 3-month trial period Guest communication (phone, e-mail, live-chat, etc.) Hotel reservation processing Working in property management systems (primarily roomMaster and WebRezPro) Location: Successful applicate must live in Victoria - offices are located near Mayfair Mall. Skills & Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry (reservations, hotel front-desk, travel agency, etc) Computer savvy, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Strong customer service skills Professional phone manner Attention to detail Strong written communication Dependable, positive, and enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills Function well in a fast-paced, team environment BONUS: Experience working with property management systems, channel management systems or Expedia & Booking.com extranets EXTRA BONUS: Bilingual (English & Spanish) Benefits: $18.00/hr starting wage Extensive on-the-job training Medical/dental benefits Travel potential (the majority of our clients are in the Caribbean and Central America, and you have to experience a destination & resort in order to effectively represent it!)
