Rental Property Inspector and Advertising Photographer

Pemberton Holmes presently has an opening for a detailed, creative and motivated person who can help us put our best foot forward with owners, tenants and the general public. This position is primarily focused on travelling to properties spread out over the entire Capital Regional District to photograph and inspect units as part of our periodic inspections and advertising services. This position is often working remotely, under tight deadlines, with a wide range of destinations and requires a tremendous skill with interpersonal interactions. Professionalism, integrity and a sense of compassion for the subject matter is your motto, and essential to the role. The successful candidate will be able to conduct an inspection by taking in a large volume of detail, assess key areas of concern in a property and generate a report to the Property Manager for actionable items, and for thorough record keeping. As an advertising photographer, you will need to be able to see a property through many different angles and be able to generate content which conveys a sense of home, for a prospective new resident to discover. Additional duties would include generating and mailing inspection notices, communicating with tenants, generating digital reports using a proprietary inspection platform and responding to emails, often on the fly. A valid class 5 driver's licence is required, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is essential.
