Purchased this shaver a number of years ago. Rarely used. Found it in the dresser the other day. Turned it on the battery had held the charge a very long time. Mistakenly pushed the trimmer button and up it popped. Strange...pushed it down and it wouldn't stay down. The trimmer may have been used a total of twenty times. I usually grabbed my Norelco for trimming. I have no idea but I can't think it is serious. Both razor and trimmer work fine.
