$18 · Reception/Security/First Aid - Night Shift at a Retirement Condo

Seeking a motivated, reliable, and confident individual to work 2/3 nights per week. Saturday night, Sunday and holiday Mondays - midnight to 8am. Starting wage is $18/hr increasing to $19/hr after the probation period ends. I could also offer Casual Maintenance if interested, like pressure washing on occasion for $21/hr. Duties: * Carry a pager and respond to first aid calls, call 911 if needed & file a report. * Making rounds of the inside of the building every 2 hours, ensuring windows and doors are locked. * Monitor the entry, and visitor screening, watching for trespassers and call police if necessary. * Vacuum the dining room and lobby * Cleaning entry windows * Washing of bathroom, elevator and entry floors * Sweeping of leaves outside entries * Sanitizing door handles, elevator buttons, stair rails etc * Answering the office phone, basic office duties * Change light bulbs as needed * Other small duties as requested by Manager Qualifications: *Criminal Record Check (this can be done online at www.commissionairesviy.ca) * First Aid - Adult with CPR or OFA level 1 equivalent with CPR * Must speak & understand fluent English * Some Janitorial and / or First Aid experience is an asset * Experience with older adults * Grade 12 completion * Practice good Covid safety precautions
