Job Description $500 Signing Bonus! (paid after 6 month anniversary of employment) Portofino Bakery is looking for Morning and Afternoon production staff, which we call "Baker's Assistant". To be successful in this position, you should enjoy: Working on your feet for 8 hours a day Working in a fast-paced environment Completing tasks while maintaining attention to detail Daily Tasks: -Gathering ingredients -Scaling ingredients -Cutting and portioning dough -Panning dough -Applying toppings -Organizing pans and racks -Organizing products in the proofer -Scoring bread -Managing oven timing -General tidying and cleaning Minimum Skills and Qualifications: -Physically able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs routinely -Food Safe Level 1 (we provide) -Hepatitis A Vaccination (we provide) -Ability to work in a team environment -Ability to communicate effectively in English -Portofino Bakery operates 7 days a week, preference will be -given to those who have open availability.
