Processor/Sorter for Donated Goods

WIN (Victoria Women In Need Community Cooperative) is a non-profit social enterprise that runs 5 Resale Shops in Victoria and is self funded in providing programs for women in Victoria. Our programs support women along their journey between crisis, self-sufficiency and wellness. The successful candidate will become part of a team of strong and dedicated people who work hard, are committed to a shared set of core values and also know how to enjoy their work. In this position you will: * Sort household and clothing donations efficiently and properly into appropriate categories according to WIN standards, * Provide excellent customer service to donors by greeting them, assisting with offloading donations and answering questions, * Keep your work station clean and organized and help in the overall warehouse cleaning, * Support other team members when necessary, * Follow all health & safety procedures and policies established by WIN. Skills and Experience required: * Excellent customer service skills, able to answer questions in a positive, confident and friendly manner, * Has a strong knowledge of quality standards for household goods and clothing, * Knows about and values the work that WIN does in the community - must have an idea of what WIN is all about, * Able to work well in a team setting, resourceful, positive attitude and a good communicator, * Is able to work in a dusty warehouse environment and has the ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks, * Able to regularly lift up to 25lbs.
