$700 · Private Bedroom in Shared House

Private bedroom in shared house September 1st | $700/mth + shared utilities We have a room coming available in our large, split-level home in Gordon Head, about a 5 min drive to UVic and on the 27/28 bus route. The room is in the downstairs living spaces and it's a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room with one other person (mid-30's male). I live in the upstairs living spaces with my kiddos (50% custody, older kids). Shared laundry and yard with the household. We're an easy-going, mellow household, both in our mid-late 30's. No wild parties although when covid isn't a thing, I like to host board game nights and BBQs upstairs. It's important to us to find the right fit and having a happy, relaxing environment is something we all value. :) No smoking/vaping on the property, sadly no pets. Single occupancy room only please. Room can be furnished or unfurnished, I'm flexible and have furniture for it. Shared utilities vary from $25/mth to $200/mth depending on the season and month. Some months there's only a $25 internet bill, other months there will also be a hydro (every 2 months) or Saanich utilities bill (every 4 months). Winter months are more expensive, particularly the April hydro bill, summer is pretty cheap. It's available September 1st and I'm flexible on extending that to Sept 15th or Oct 1st for the right person. Thanks and talk to you soon! Iesha :)
