Preschool ECEA

Sidney Preschool has an opening starting in January 2020 for an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to fill in for a maternity leave. We are a parent participation preschool program that runs Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm, with 3- and 4-year-olds in a high adult: child ratio environment. We are looking for a dedicated person who can nurture our children, inspire our families, and become part of our community. Experience in a co-operative or non-profit environment is an asset. Check us out at www.sidneypreschool.com You will need to have a current ECEA registration with the Province of British Columbia, first aid (Emergency OFA Level 1 and CPR B or equivalent), and will be required to submit to a criminal record check or share a recent check prior to hiring. Your duties will include: · Assisting the ECE and/or parent classroom helper with the preschool morning setup and clean up · Assisting the ECE with the preschool program throughout the day · Providing instruction and guidance to the parent classroom helper Please respond with a cover letter, resumé and 2 references.
