Prep/Lunch Line Cook

Immediate full time opportunity available for an experienced line/ prep cook Responsible for opening kitchen, preparing prep list for the day and assisting on the line if needed over the lunch rush, more hours available for an experienced night chef if wanted. Must be trustworthy, work well independently as well as in a team setting, have reliable transportation (we are on a bus rout) and a great attitude Must have open morning-mid day availability including weekends. We are located in the deep cove marina (near the ferry) Job Type: Full-time Experience: restaurant : 2 years (Required) Location: Sidney, BC (Preferred) Job Duties: Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
