STUDIO EMPLOYEE AT HANDS ON POTTERY GALLERY STAFF AT HANDS ON CLAY COLLECTIVE Position: Pottery Production Team Member and Customer Care Associate Type: Full-time Location: Victoria, BC Salary Range: Commensurate with experience Start Date: October 2019 --- POSITION DESCRIPTION Hands on Clay Collective is looking for a friendly, thoughtful, compassionate, solution-oriented thinker to join our small, hard-working team. As both a production studio team member and customer care associate, you will support our studio staff in the day-to-day tasks that arise at the studio, as well as supporting the administrative manager / CMO at the gallery on weekends, addressing customer and student queries, packaging orders, and more! In this entry-level role, you would become well-versed in the Hands on Pottery / Hands on Clay Collective brand and represent our collective as a member and point of contact for customers, retailers, and students! We are looking for a team member that wishes to retain a long-term position, is willing to pitch in wherever necessary in the studio and gallery, and is passionate about the success of Hands on Clay Collective. COMPANY OVERVIEW Hands on Clay Collective is a line of mugs, tumblers and other pottery made by hand in Victoria, BC by our team of production potters. Our studio, Hands on Pottery, is where we make our work, as well as teach workshops and classes.
