We still have starts, and the transplanting season is in full swing! If you happen to be going to Salt Spring and enjoy gardening, come get some plants from us! Take advantage of our "frequent planter" program: get nine initials on your Frequent Planter Card, and your tenth plant is FREE!
Ever wonder what wonders a "Kellog's Breakfast" tomato holds for you? Or do you prefer the more grounded taste of "Aunt Molly's" ground cherry?
We have more than 2,500 plants! We feature the rare, the exotic, the beautiful, and always, the tasty. Most are heritage and/or open-pollinated varieties. And you'll get great growing advice on which plant best suits your situation.
So come out to the farm! Feel free to drop in, but if you're planning a special trip, give a call first (250-653-2024).
From Fulford Harbour, go 3.5 km and look for the big white farmhouse on the left. Look ahead for the white picket fence around the little white church on the left. Our drive (2152 Fulford-Ganges Road) is before the picket fence on the left. If you can't find anyone in the yellow house behind the church, look over your left shoulder, and head over to the 3,600 sqft greenhouse to find someone.
I know, the ferry costs money. If you pre-pay for 16 plants, we'll meet you at Fulford Harbour with 18 plants (two free!) so you can walk back on the ferry.
Choose from 20+ heirloom or open pollinated varieties each of tomatoes and peppers, plus many others, including cucumbers, ground cherries, tomatillos, basils, and some perennials.
Quantities of the choicest varieties are limited! Hope to see you in the greenhouse!
