Q-Tel has an immediate vacancy for a part-time receptionist / office assistant!
Hours: Tuesday to Friday 1-5 & Saturday 10-2; ability to cover vacation and sick days (sometimes short notice) is required.
Compensation: $13 to $14 per hour dependent on experience; to be reviewed and potentially increased on completion of three-month probationary period.
Our ideal candidate:
- Quick learner
- Reliable & open availability
- Comfortable working alone when required
- Can lift 50 lbs unassisted (TVs, microwaves, audio equipment, etc.)
- Knowledge of Victoria and surrounding areas
- Some office/reception experience is a definite asset
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Incoming & outgoing calls (booking service calls, providing updates to customers, etc.)
- Maintaining general cleanliness of office & shop (bathrooms, desk area, garbage, etc.)
- Carrying units to and from customer vehicles
