$14 · Part-Time Janitor, Victoria West Community Centre

We are looking for a new janitor to be a part of the team at Victoria West Community Centre. 1 Part-Time Position (8 hours/week) Sunday and Monday (Days of the week may vary due to operational requirements) , early mornings preferred. The Victoria West Community Association is seeking enthusiastic and customer service oriented individuals to provide building janitorial services on a part-time basis. This position will perform janitorial and custodial tasks. Hours of work for this position vary, and are flexible to the schedule of the incumbent, either early mornings or late evenings. Please note that employment with Victoria West Community Centre is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory police records check. Position Requirements: * Grade 12 supplemented with janitorial courses and related experience, or equivalent. * Proficiency in the use of janitorial materials, tools and equipment * Sound knowledge of routine building maintenance. * Ability to work independently in ongoing areas of responsibility * Awareness of safe work practices * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * First Aid/CPR * Experience within a recreation facility an asset Please submit a cover letter and resume by email.
