PT RCA/HCA Serenity Home Care is looking for a RCA/HCA to join our team. The individual is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our client who is suffering from ALS. This position will be a two person team, to provide the daily care required for our client. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times. Responsibilities: * Home assistance - Provide light housekeeping and run errands if needed. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. * Companionship - Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual. Requirements: * RCA or HCA diploma or Nursing School student * Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report. * Shifts available 10am-12 noon, 5pm-9pm, Saturday and Sunday (additional shifts may be available) About Serenity Home Care: Serenity Home Care is an award winning, family owned and operated organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients.
