Seeking Part-time (approx. 4hrs a week) bookkeeper for local financial services firm in Sooke, BC. Position is based out of a home office in a residential area. Ideal candidate will have the following skills/qualifications: - experience using QuickBooks Online - experience using Sage 50 desktop - basic accounting experience (understanding of debits and credits) - experience in an office setting - friendly, professional demeanour - desire for continued education - desire to understand info, not memorize The position is very part time to start but may expand to include more hours as the business grows. The working hours are flexible to suit the employees needs. The job includes basic data entry of payables and receivables. We will provide training as needed. Compensation is $17-$20 hourly depending on experience. There is also a commission bonus for any clients the employee brings to the firm. Please send us an email with your details and resume.
