PARTS & SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Vector Yacht Services is searching for a Parts & Service Representative to join our dynamic growing company at our Canoe Cove office. Vector Yachts is a large marine mechanical repair and engine sales outfit in Sidney that serves clients all over Vancouver Island, the surrounding Islands and the USA. We are a fully authorized dealer of Volvo Penta, Mercury, Yanmar and Suzuki engines. We pride ourselves on our quality workmanship and to always deliver the highest and best services to our customers and the community. This is a full-time position and the successful candidate would be working Monday - Friday 8:am-4:30pm. We are closed over long weekends and for two weeks at Christmas. Benefits will include extended health and dental after 3 months of successful employment. This position is responsible for greeting clients, handling telephone and email inquiries, inventory and accounts receivable, store room organization, pricing and supply ordering. You would also be assisting your fellow staff and technicians with their parts and supply needs. All other duties as assigned. This is a fast paced environment so efficiency and attention to detail are our top priority. The successful applicant should possess Grade 12 or higher education and will need a basic understanding of computer input, have a professional and well-groomed appearance along with excellent time management skills. No actual marine experience is required - we will provide training on everything that is needed to be successful in this position!
