Winter 2022/23- Our Victoria House 4 Your House by BC Ski Hill

WANT A HOUSE SWAP IN VICTORIA FOR WINTER 2022/23? HOME OWNERS ONLY ... no swaps with renters, sorry! Must be able to show gov't issued identification to verify identity, and provide a copy of title to your house confirming you are the registered owner. Dates negotiated to meet both our needs, but ideally we will get the best of the season for seasons' passes at your local ski hill. WHAT YOU GET: You will get temperate warmer weather without snow and the ability to go for walks either on the beaches or in the rainforest, enjoy the culinary adventures of Victoria, access to craft beer at local breweries, and no shovelling!! We seek the opportunity for snow and mountain adventures. OUR HOUSE: We offer a 3bdrm, 2 bathroom, 2001 built rancher located in Greater Victoria, a short walk to the Esquimalt Lagoon. We are close to shopping, a 5-min walk to the beach and walking trails and 5 min drive to the West Coast Highway, which leads to many more beaches and trails. We have a 5 person hot tub that requires regular chemicals and maintenance. We can include a biweekly house cleaner in exchange for same, or you pay $50 bi-weekly for her. There are a number of house plants that require watering. WHAT WE SEEK: We seek a similar house that is close enough to the local ski hill for us to get seasons' passes. Our target locations are Vernon, Revelstoke, Kelowna, Kimberly, Nelson, and Golden. We are NOT interested in Kamloops (sorry!). If you have a hot tub or sauna, that is a major bonus but it's not mandatory. We will need a space for us to put two desks as we work from home and will need access to good internet. WHAT ABOUT PETS??? We are OK with having somebody who owns a cat and seek the same. We do not currently have a cat as our Mr. Bagheera has gone to the next life, but we plan to get one again one day and it may be this year sometime. If you are interested, please send us some information about yourself and some photos of your home. To make the arrangement we suggest doing a virtual chat to meet and talk and give virtual tours of each other's homes. We could also check each other's IDs this way and confirm against title searches so nobody needs to be concerned about a scam.
