While this Hot Wheels set was a toy and still can be used as such, it is also a highly collectible item for serious Hot Wheel collectors. Most new Hot Wheels packages range in price of $30-$45 (not incl. tax). That is important to know as a base line when comparing new products vs. collectible items from the late 1960's > early 1970's. This 1968 Hot Curves Race Action Set usually sells for ~ US$90-$100 in on-line auctions. C$99 = US$75 The big advantage of direct sales is there is no shipping, which is usually US$30-$45. This 1968 Hot Curves Race Action Set includes 32 feet of orange track (15 x 2' and 2 x 1'), 12 joiners, one universal clamp, one start gate, one finish gate, 6 trestles, two 90 degree half curves, and two 180 degree full curves. It is in its original box (though box is in rough shape). Boxes alone can sell for $50 depending on condition. Missing from the original contents are the 2 cars, collector's buttons and the International Collector's Catalog and instructions). I am including a photo of the instructions for reference sake only.
