Violinist for Hire

I am a local violinist with extensive experience playing classical and fiddle music, and I am offering background music and house concerts! Now is the time that everyone starts thinking about holiday events, so if you're planning a (socially distanced) party, book quickly! My background music repertoire is a mix of light classical, fiddle, popular songs, and showtunes. For holiday events, I also rotate in some seasonal tunes! If there is enough time, I am happy to accommodate requests. In addition to solo violin, I can also put together a violin & piano duo, string quartet, or any ensemble you would like, with enough time to plan. My house concert repertoire consists of many major concerti, Bach pieces, and more. I am open to requests if submitted early! House concerts are best if there is a piano available for my accompanist, but that is not required. Fees run at roughly $125 per hour, but that may differ greatly depending on the type of music, amount of musicians hired, and travel time. I have played violin for sixteen years, and I currently study violin performance at the University of Victoria under Ann Elliott-Goldschmid. In 2017, I was awarded Special Recognition for my Complete Program in the Seattle Young Artists' Music Festival, performed as concertmaster and featured soloist in Cascade Youth Symphony's European Tour, and received second place at the Washington State Solo/Ensemble festival in chamber music. In 2018 and 2019, I held leadership roles at the Chloé Trevor Music Academy and Tuned In! Summer Student Festival, and even had the privilege to play in a master class with Rachel Barton Pine.
