$40 · Online French lessons (private/group) with bilingual instructor

I am offering online group and/or private lessons geared towards beginner students of French who have a keen interest in mastering the sounds of the French language right from the start! I am also offering conversation classes for both intermediate and advanced levels. Classes will be offered online, via Zoom (free online learning platform/app). Online classes are geared towards teenagers (ages 12+), and adults. All scheduled class times are marked in Pacific Standard Time, but lessons are open to anyone anywhere in the world! I am a Canadian Anglophone who lived and studied in France for over 5 years. I am bilingual and have 20+ years of expertise in helping non francophones to get their mouths around the sounds of French (pronunciation/phonetics instructor). Like English, French is a deeply orthographic language (words do not sound like they are spelled), and I offer students a fun and easy way to decode the written form. By the end of a 5-week session with me, you will be able to read a basic French paragraph aloud, with confidence. I am a middle school Montessori French teacher, a certified DELF examiner-scorer, an instructor for the Alliance Française, a French language lab instructor at UVic, and a Master's student at UVic researching the use of lingual ultrasound visual technology as a tool for learning how to pronounce French vowels. Join me on a French language learning adventure! Cost is $20 CAD per person per hour of instruction for group/conversation classes; 2-3 students per group. Private lessons: $40 CAD per hour.
