Pacific Peoples' Partnership (PPP) is seeking volunteers for our 13th Annual One Wave Gathering, a celebration of South Pacific and Indigenous arts & cultures on Lekwungen territory in Victoria. At One Wave Gathering, Pacific artists, speakers, and leaders share stories, knowledge, art, and song. This year's gathering will celebrate allyship and resilience, as communities from the North and South Pacific come together in the spirit of navigating shared waters. This year, we are offering a range of virtual and small in-person events with Covid-19 protocols in place at all events. Events this month span film, dance, dialogue, digital media, and more! Volunteering with us is an amazing opportunity to gain experience, learn about Pacific & Indigenous cultures, and have fun. Volunteer opportunities include event setup and takedown, audio & tech support, event recording through film & photography, and community care & elder support. We encourage peoples of all abilities and identifications to volunteer.
