Office Manager (Currently hiring Office Manager for part-time 10-20hrs/week. Experience preferred but willing to train the right individual.) The Administrative Assistant/Office Manager will report to the company president. We are a growing business in Victoria with coverage in Duncan and Nanaimo. We are in need of someone to take over procedural matters in the area of payroll, entering invoices into Quickbooks, sending statements , printing off transactions and expenditures and filing them. In addition, I am looking for someone who can help us implement a new tracking and employee efficiency program. This position is best suited to a dynamic individual with a clear sense of organization and how to keep a company organized from the back end. You should have experience managing an office but also be open to broadening your scope. Responsibilities and Duties: Enter invoices and create monthly statements from Quickbooks Record payments and post expenses that are auto uploaded from bank account in Quickbooks Print out purchases and transactions, keep a copy for accounting, a copy for supplier file, and possibly for the individual job. Help to set up tracking systems that will assist us with job costing to determine overall profitability in each of our three main sectors so we know where to increase efforts or prices and where to decrease expenditures or increase prices. Implement a customer log in system that is tied in with a technician that will allow us to follow progress of each job from start to finish. Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries and schedule in appointments. Help design and print out lists, charts etc. Help to provide content for web-site and social media sites. Help to keep techs updated and on to their next task. Qualifications: College Diploma and/or some University Two years experience with office systems either as an assistant or office manager. Ideal skills: Google Docs, spreadsheet, Adobe photoshop, illustrator Social media saavy You should be a self started, cheerful and enthusiastic. Driver's licence is required.
