In mast furling main sail. The sail is in reasonable condition and rated 7/10 by the local sailmaker. The description below is an assessment by UK sails in Sidney completed last month. The sail has been kept in doors out of the elements for the past 5 years. It was removed from a hood in mast furling mast set up. The furling gear is all in order and can go with or without the sail, it will need to have the casing fabricated, as it was installed inside the mast. You could use this to replace an old not working system or have a case fabricated and install it onto the back side of an existing mast. NORTH IN MAST OR BEHIND MAST FURLING MAIN SOME UV DAMAGE ON LEECH, SOME RESEWING NEEDED AT CLEW, SPLIT IN LUFF TAPE NEAR TACK, TACK WEB NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, NO BATTENS, APROX 8OZ DACRON CROSS CUT, BUTTERFLY D RING AT CLEW, #6 TAPE ON LUFF LUFF - 46' FOOT - 14.1' CONDITION 7/10 to complete the recommended repairs... ***ESTIMATED LABOUR AND MATERIALS TO REPAIR FURLING MAIN 239.10 GST/PST BC 239.10 If your interested, you can come have a look.
