We condition & treat or paint (depending on the style) all of our wood before assembly for weather and bug resistance, like our tables these benches are sturdy and built to last with pride by husband & wife team. We hand-pick wood with character and use chrome plated hardware as well as plastic-coated screws to prevent rusting in our salty climate should you use your bench outdoors.
