As a childcare provider I have cared for children from newborn to 12 years old, creating a warm, nurturing, safe, and routine environment for children. Coordinated and prepared meals for the children if not provided by the parents as well as scheduled naps based on the parents desires and the child's routine. Planned educational and recreational daily activities both indoor and outdoor which included trips to local parks, zoos and child attractions to enhance the children's physical, emotional, and social well-being. Kept the daycare environment clean and safe for all children by closely monitoring the children's activities at all times. Also as the the occasional nanny for two families I took care of children between the ages of 2 years and 6 years, handling the transportation to and from school as well as after school activities which included sports and homework. Assimilated into the households in order for a smooth and stress free transition for the children. Worked closely with the parents to ensure their and the children's need were being met, maintain household order, and to inform parents daily on the children's progress and behaviour.
