If pale yellow were not one of the few colours which does not seem to work near my face, I would totally keep this beauty as it is such a marvelous piece in my eyes! It is a blend of Deco and early '50s, particularly with regards to the palette. From two fine strands of curb chain are strung elongated and tapered rectangles or varying widths, the thickest which is studded with rhinestones. Three sizes of softly rounded square cabochons in pale banana have an argyle pattern across their surface as the facet striations reflect off of the pearlescent foundations. Their diameters are 5/8", 7/8" and 1 1/8". The chain from end to end is 17" (43.2 cm) plus 3" (7.6 cm) of extender. x-posted
