I am selling a 1981 Mercedes 300TD, Turbo Diesel Engine runs, and I haven’t had an issue with it that way. Is leaking oil a fair bit and rear suspension isn’t in great shape Body is in decent shape, there are a few spots on it that have been painted over not very well, but over all looks in decent shape. Gets pretty good gas mileage per fuel up, especially with diesel fuel usually being cheaper than regular. Has rust underneath through floor, but minimal on exterior body. Only the driver side window rolls down, has leaked in the passed, but put new door and window seals on it, put in a new radiator, lights and have other extra things we didn’t install like head gasket seals and an extra door seal and other little things. Being a wagon it has lots of space inside to put things in and has great visibility out the back with those big clear windows. This was a good first car to me and would be a good one for somebody else as well. Was a fun and very useful car for me when I needed it.
