Made in Toronto in 1905, an instrument of excellent quality with a carved mahogany case and the original matching, fully adjustable stool. Recently appraised and favorably evaluated by Allison Piano, it has been well maintained throughout its life. Owned by the same family for three generations, it was once the piano of a professional theatrical pianist who accompanied silent films before the advent of recorded sound. A true period piece with an interesting provenance and a pleasing sound.
