What You Do As part of our Marvelous Maintenance team, you know that cleanliness and comfort are the most important things we can offer our guests. You go above and beyond to ensure our guest rooms and common areas are always spotlessly clean, well lit, secure and usable, and looking totally awesome for our guests. You are a handy, skilled person who loves fixing things big and small. You ensure that all facilities and fixtures are working properly to delight our guests. This includes the buildings grounds and gardens, flower baskets, lighting, plumbing, electrics, machines, fixtures, wallcoverings, carpet and furniture. You know your way around tools and equipment and feel confident fixing and tweaking as needed. You maintain the property and public areas to a high standard of safety, taking care of planned and unplanned maintenance. You have an eagle-eye for detail and take pride in the property's appearance and operations. You have excellent communication skills and share frequently with the housekeeping and front desk departments. You are quick to help out our guests who may have a flat tire or a flat battery or may have locked their keys in their car. What You Need * Fun loving nature * Good mechanical sense and how things work * A whiz with tools * An eagle eye for detail * An obsession for neatness and cleanliness * A sense of urgency and able to work happily on your own * A love for a range of duties and staying active * Able bodied and capable of lifting, carrying and pushing heavy loads * Driver's License * Know your way around plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting
