Raven Marine Services is a busy marine company on southern Vancouver Island looking to expand its marine electrical team. The position available is full time (Monday to Friday), with an hourly wage of between 25$ and 35$ dollars an hour, includes benefits, Medical and Dental. The skills required to be a Marine Electrician are as follows: - Our marine electrical technicians install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ships, yachts, and in shipyard facilities; - Repair and maintain electrical and electronics on vessels in a marine service facility; - Troubleshoot client reported issues in the timeline and budget provided - Consults with project manager regarding installation or repair problems, sequence of operations, and time required to complete repair or installation. - Troubleshoots electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and effect required maintenance, repairs, or replacement requirements. - Performs maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits.
