Marine Mechanic

Marine Mechanic - Sooke Marine Centre Able to adapt to different manufacturers models. Able to work and contribute in a team environment. Responsibilities and Duties * Exceptional diagnosing ability * Familiar with rigging and installations * Proficient with electrical and hydraulic systems * Diagnose and repair all inboard & outboard 4 stroke engines (Diesel experience an asset) * Boat trailer repairs and maintenance * Familiarity with multiple computer software/diagnostics systems * Exceptional communication skills * Previous experience on any of the lines we carry an asset, but not a requirement * Maintain a clean/organized work space * Detailed repair order parts and time tracking * Know and follow health and safety requirements affecting your job * Own required tools Qualifications and Skills * Experience in marine repair facility * Organized individuals * Must hold valid BC drivers licence (Class 5 min) * Pleasure Craft operators licence an asset * Independent and resourceful Please send your resume to email attached or contact us 250 642-6509 Extra consideration given to those who hold BCIT inboard/outboard Technician Journeyman Certificate or other recognized designation.
