We are looking for a motivated candidate who likes working with machines, enjoys a technical challenge, and has a great mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in their work. The manufacturing technician will use specialty software and a CNC router to carry out a variety of machining tasks. Projects involve machining plastic, aluminum, and wood materials and must be completed with a high degree of precision. We are a small, family-owned business. Candidates who may not meet all the requirements but possess a great willingness to learn are also invited to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES - Program, setup, and operate a 3-axis CNC router with minimal supervision. - Continually monitor quality and make necessary adjustments. - Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements. - Perform post-production operations. - Perform scheduled maintenance. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Create 2D and 3D CAD models from client sketches - Follow and maintain safety standards. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Experience operating CNC equipment, ideally a CNC router table. - Knowledge of drafting and design software: Solidworks, AutoCAD, Vectric, Adobe Suite. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings. - Proficient in the use of basic woodworking and metalworking tools. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Certificate or diploma in engineering, machining, or other relevant discipline is preferred. - A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. - Excellent organization, communication and time management skills. - Capacity to establish priorities and work under pressure. - Ability to think critically and make sound decisions. - Willingness to work additional time where necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Good hand-eye coordination, mechanical aptitude, able to lift 75lbs Must have the vision and dexterity to safely operate power and hand tools. SALARY Determined based on experience and skillset. Regular wage increases.
