The finish is the same on the stainless steel handles, which are inlaid with black mother of pearl to give this tool a little bit of flair adding to its awesome function. To deploy the blade, insert your finger into the ring and pull downward. To close the blade, line up the bailout key with the piece in the handle and the notch in the blade with the protrusion on the neck sling and fold it closed to be ready for immediate use.
