Manager/Caretaker

Silver Park. We are searching for a dynamic mature single/couple to become the next Live-in Resident Manager/s at a 185 site, 55+ Senior Manufactured Home Park in Duncan. We are looking for someone that is a self starter and can work without supervision. This is a full time position. Duties: *Be responsible for the administrative work involved in the operation of the complex *Collect and record all rents *Screen tenant applicants *Maintain park common areas *Collection of garden refuse and delivery of gardening supplies. *Maintenance of Park services and infrastructure which include sewer and water line maintenance and repair, and fence repair. *must be able to operate a tractor and other park equipment. *Enforce tenancy rules, regulations, serving Tenant Termination notices, Rent Increase notices, and other approved notices. *To be responsible for after-hours calls, and 24 hour emergency coverage. Requirements: *Previous experience in tenancy management. Knowledge of the Manufactured Home Park Tenancy Act or the Residential Tenancy Act an asset. *Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills are necessary. *Must be able to represent the Landlord in Dispute Resolution. *Excellent communicator; both verbal and written *Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills, and a working knowledge of office equipment such as fax, printer, and copier. *Must have working knowledge of gardening equipment such as weed eater, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, etc. *Must be able to lift heavy objects and have good "handyman" skills i.e. some knowledge of plumbing and electrical. *Grade 12 or equivalent education Salary: Value package, which includes home (maximum 2 occupants) and utilities, and scheduled vacation time for successful applicant/s.
