MARINE TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for an experienced Marine Technician to join our team. We provide parts, sales and service for Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Silver Streak Boats, Double Eagle Boats, Lowe Boats and most other brands. Position summary: Reporting to the Service Manager, you will perform outboard motor maintenance and repairs. As well, you will work with our service team to provide an exceptional and professional customer service experience. Position responsibilities: Install new and used outboards onto boats of all makes and models Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts Perform scheduled maintenance and service Perform warranty repairs Advise service advisor on work performed and condition of equipment Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques Accurately record findings so that repair costs are accurately estimated Participate as a team member and provide assistance to other team members when needed Maintain technical qualification by completing any necessary training programs assigned to you Performing other duties as required by our management team Operate forklift Ideal Candidate: 4 + years experience servicing outboard motors Must posses a valid class 5 driver's license Basic computer knowledge Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills The ability to consistently meet multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Maintain clean and organized workspace Yamaha, Suzuki or Honda marine certifications an asset Please submit your resume via email or come into the store and ask for Dan.
