For sale: One pair (2) of active loudspeakers from Electro-Voice, model ZXA5-90B. These were purchased new from authorized EV distributor and babied their entire life. These have been successfully used as mains and monitors in live sound applications ranging from weddings, balls, theatres, and outdoor concerts. Some of the loudest powered speakers available on the market, with professional class construction and features. 15" DVX-3150 woofers with 1,000-watt (RMS) internal amplifiers, and 2" ND2 Drivers on 90x50 horn with 250-watt (RMS) internal amplifiers. Sound great with no external processing. XLR locking input and loop through, PowerCON locking power connectors with loop-through. Full-range (down to 58hz at -3dB) with easy recessed pushbutton for 100hz highpass filter to be used with subwoofers. Adjustable monitor angle (45 or 55 degrees) with just a screwdriver. Complete with padded zippered covers (TUKI brand), and acoustically transparent weatherproof covers (FS/W series from Undercover NYC) worth over $500 combined. These speakers go for $2,000 each new. Will include two powerCON cables as well. At 50 lbs they are easy to toss on a speaker pole thanks to their heavy-duty polypropylene cabinet construction. 133dB max SPL means they get extremely loud if needed but also sound great quiet.
