$200 · Looking for dragon boat paddlers - no experience needed

We have a couple spots left for our mixed team Paddlers of the Fifth Moon to make sure we have enough people to cover all races. Our team is a competitively-minded rec crew in that we're looking for strong, fit, reliable, driven, committed people that work hard but are still fun to be around. The boat is drama free and has a great group of supportive and enthusiastic paddlers from the relatively new to the very experienced. Target age range is 20-49 to avoid competing with our 50+ teams for recruitment but obviously the right fit will not be turned away based on age! Our coach has almost 18 years of coaching experience and holds Dragon Boat Canada Level 2 certification. We will train equally on both sides with a strong focus on technique and injury prevention. Practice nights are Tues and Thurs, on now and running until the Victoria festival in August. We're on the water 7-830pm (meeting 645pm). Fees include practice time and entry into all 3 races Gorge (Victoria) June 15 Nanaimo Jul 6-7 Victoria Aug 10-11 Absolutely no experience is necessary (it's honestly almost preferred as it's less likely you'll come with bad paddling habits!), we'll teach you everything you need to know. You're more than welcome to come check it out before coughing up registration fees.
