Looking for a cheap light sport bike

I'm moving to Victoria in September and I'd like to have a vehicle set up for when I arrive. I had a 2009 Ninja 250r in Ontario but sold it to buy a 2012 V-Strom 650, which I've just crashed in South Dakota. I didn't have comprehensive insurance so I'm pretty broke. Ideally looking for a ~2009 250 or a ~2001 600. In riding the V-Strom I've realized that I much prefer the handling of sport bikes so I'm looking for something like a Ninja or CBR. I'll say I'm looking to spend $2000, you'll say you're looking for $3000, we'll settle around $2500 if it has everything set up and ready to ride. Also looking for a new jacket as mine melted in my crash. Let me know what you've got and help me get back on the road! Thank you, Aaron
