Local Sea Shepherd chapter accepting onshore volunteers!

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization Established in 1977, our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. We use innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations. What we do locally: Tabling at events to sell merch and educate, beach cleans, social media, working with local sponsors and businesses, fundraising, sometimes there may be local campaign things to help with including assisting the Sheen crew when they are in town. There is more we would like to be involved with but for that we need YOU! Who we are looking for: Passionate volunteers with some time to spare! We need people that are willing to show up for events as well as help organize.
