Live-In Caregiver - 2-4 24 hr shifts

Care & Company - Senior Care Victoria is seeking a compassionate and eager individual available to work a few 24-hour shifts per week. We pay a living wage, have uniforms available, supply our staff with necessary personal protective equipment, and offer consistency with our scheduling. A live-in shift with our company can include any of the following tasks: - Meal preparation - Home supports including light cleaning - Shower assistance (client dependant) - Personal care (client dependant) - Medication administration - Companionship These shifts usually include a full night's sleep (depending on the client), and down time in between tasks! Skills & Assets: - Experience working with or around senior's - Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's - Ability to communicate well with senior's - A compassionate and friendly demeanor Qualifications: - RCA/HCA (an asset but not required) - Valid First Aid/CPR - Criminal Record Check - BC Drivers License (an asset but not required) Why work for us? Caregivers are matched with clients we feel they would get along with and be able to work with on a daily or weekly basis. Our shifts are 2 hours minimum so you're not running around from client to client and we have a supportive office team available on evenings and weekends as well!
