We are looking for a skilled lead vocalist to front our band. Consideration will be given to both male and female vocalists. Stage experience with a band - along with the ability to deliver confident, energetic vocals is necessary. We are an easy going, mature (age 50+) 5 pce. band of experienced musicians (2 guitars, bass, drums & keyboards) with harmony vocal abilities. We have a fully equipped rehearsal studio with PA system, stage lights, etc. We are a dedicated group and work hard at developing a great sound, with energetic set lists and a good stage presence....but we have lots of fun doing it too. We rehearse weekly with the goal to gig 1-2 times per month. We are looking for a solid team player who works well with others, has a good attitude, reliable transportation and a commitment to practice - both at home and at regular weekly band rehearsals. Our song choices consist of recognizable, fun, "get them dancing" tunes covering many different genres, including both classic and modern rock, pop, R&B, funk and maybe even a hint of modern country. Feel good songs that put a smile on your face and get yours toes tapping and your booty shakin'. Some of the artists we cover include: Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, April Wine, Van Morrison, Doobie Brothers, Cheap Trick, Billy Joel, The Blues Brothers, Michael Jackson...... the list goes on.
