I'm looking for a few more people to fill out my 18 person crew for this tree planting season. It runs from May 1st to August 7th and takes place in the northern interior of BC, starting in Williams Lake.
The ideal candidate would be in good physical shape, strongly motivated and able/willing to live in a tent for 3 months.
The pay depends on your work ethic and skill, as it is piece rate (per tree). Hardworking first year planters can make as much as $200-$300/day.
It is a high paced, physically and mentally intense job that takes a right person to succeed in. We work in almost all weather conditions except lightning storms and an occasional blizzard. It is looking like this season will be entirely spent in a bush camp, so camping gear including tent/sleeping bag/warm clothes is an absolute must.
Despite sounding like a remote boot camp, treeplanting is also a very unique experience, that can also be very rewarding, both financially and in terms of personal growth. If this sounds like you type of work, or you want to know more information, feel free to email me with any questions.
