Up for sale-An unusual Military lantern set-This is either a Company, Platoon, or field made boxed set containing a Coleman Lantern (Double mantle)+ fuel+ Accessories. This is a Coleman Double Mantle Lantern model 220H with a Pyrex globe. Lantern has been completely disassembled and cleaned. A new generator was installed June 8 2020. Lantern Functions extremely well, very bright. Comes with two cans of Coleman camping fuel, plus it has an additional spare globe, as well as: a spare brass Coleman filler cap (New in package) an envelope containing two spare leather pump cups and a spare brass generator needle, as well as a spare Coleman generator new in package. Also has 2x2 spare #21 Coleman mantles new in package, and 1x4 pack of Peerless brand mantles. Also has a Coleman brand aluminum funnel with filter. A very unusual and desirable piece of kit. Approximate weight with contents is 35 pounds. Dimensions of box: Length: 22.5" Width: 16" Height: 17" Box has metal swivel handles on top and both sides, and a lock hasp on the front. Markings: Front, top, and rear: Lantern, Coleman, Infantry, double mantle. Caution: Use appropriate fuel only. Box also marked with a red circle and the number 3, and the letters "BHQ" and an NSN number on one side: 6260-01-124-7468. Box is OD Green overall. Box interior is extremely well padded with closed cell? foam in a faded OD green colour. Interior of box lid is marked: "FIRE DANGER Ensure stove/lantern is cold prior to storage" These are my last two boxes, and need to go. I also have a Bundeswehr boxed Kerosene lantern not pictured. Ideal for: NBC/Disaster and earthquake prepping. Super for Cabin or RV camping, Boat camping. 4x4 Off road kit, Etc. Note: This is only for the double mantle lantern.
