$25 · Experienced Landscape and Horticulture Foreman Needed

Gnome and Gardens Organic Landcare is seeking to fill a foreman position for 4 to 5 days a week, beginning August. Starting wage is determined by experience, but begins at $20 - $25/hr or more. This is a permanent job for the right person. We offer horticulture and landscape work all year round, with no winter layoffs. At least 2 years experience is required. We are ITA-certified, and can sponsor people working towards their Red Seal in Landscape Horticulture. We are a fully organic company, and follow nature's lead in order to facilitate abundance. We work hard, love what we do, and provide exceptional design, installation, and maintenance service. The ideal candidate for foreman has: - Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape work. - A knowledge and passion for horticulture, including plant identification, general care and maintenance. - Experience in maintenance tasks such as line trimming, edging, weeding, mulching, pruning, hedge trimming. - A clean, full driver's license is required. - A friendly, social, and easy-going personality that can work well with others. - Ability to take direction and adapt to new situations. - Good people skills, and is comfortable dealing with clients in a professional and positive manner. - Most important is a motivation to learn lots, work hard and really 'git 'er done'.
