Randstad Victoria is now looking for a Junior Bookkeeper for our client in the food distribution industry. Responsibilities and duties * Handle customer inquiries and take customer orders * Prepare customer orders, generate and send out invoices * Scan invoices * Process credit card payments * Provide backup support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments o Assist in receiving products from vendor deliveries o Assist in matching purchase orders to invoices and processing in system * Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc Key Competencies * Must pass PCI DSS Compliance check (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) comprising credit/criminal background check * Attention to detail and accuracy * Customer service skills * Good verbal and written communication * Organization skills * Team member * Stress tolerance * Sense of urgency Education and Experience * Knowledge of office administration and procedures * Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures * Hands-on experience in operating accounting software * 1 years junior accounts receivable and/or general accounting experience What they offer * Competitive pay $18-21 depending on experience * Benefits * vacation package If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you - please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
