Junior Accountant

This is a contract position with strong possibility of going permanent for the right person. Type: Temporary with possibility of permanent for the right person Hours: Monday - Friday, office hours Starting: As soon as possible Location: Sidney, BC Pay: $20 - $23 Responsibilities: - Timely payment of Accounts Payable, AP entry, bank reconciliations, c-card reconciliations. - Acceleration of Accounts Receivable collection and collections from customers - Accurate and timely maintenance of asset & liability working papers - Timely close of each accounting period and Completion of monthly accounting checklists - Switchboard & office management Requirements: - Experience of bookkeeping, ERP accounting, filing - Detail oriented, high level of integrity, able to handle confidential information - Accurate and good typing speed - Experience of working in excel - Tech savvy and a good problem solver Advantages: - Start ASAP - Strong possibility of a permanent position - Start your career at a great company that values its employees - Weekly pay If this sounds like you, then please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
