Job Posting Job Title: Inside Specialty Sales - FlooringLocations: Langford, Sidney The Opportunity Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking Full-Time Inside Specialty Sales - Flooring employees for our Langford and Sidney locations. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures Greet and assist customers with purchases, provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials Provide project quotes, enter delivery orders/special orders and assist in purchasing Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, follow up on deliveries, and awareness of project time line to foresee material needs Be a source of knowledge and willing to learn about new building and home improvement materials General housekeeping duties and general stocking of merchandise as required Communicate with the shipping department to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met Help with inventory for department Other duties assigned by management Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum two years sales experience Building material, Paint and Flooring product knowledge Effective communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak in English Detail orientated with disciplined work habits Strong computer skills Customer service focused Ability to work in a fast-paced environment A positive can do attitude is essential!
