$150 · Island, the Mexican kitten!

"island" is about four months old. He was born in late September in a small city in Mexico. His mother "princessa" was a wild cat that had gotten pregnant with her first litter of kittens when she ran into my mom. She gained the timid cats trust and she had three beautiful healthy babies. When the kittens were almost totally weaned princessa ran away before my mom could get her spayed. She came back months later pregnant again with island and his three brothers, spot, Panther and Diego. This time around we thought we were more careful, but days before she was supposed to go to the vet she was attacked by another local wild cat and she passed away from an infection within the week. The orphaned kittens along with their older siblings stayed with us and we raised them to love and trust humans. But we wanted a better life for them than to be a Mexican street cat. So we decided to drive across country with island and his litter mates to get good Canadian homes. (Where I currently live in Victoria BC ) So now little island is the last baby looking for a home! This beautiful black and white sweetie pie is an amazing adventure cat and has thrived on the road with us! Often wanting to sleep in our sweaters or laps while we travel. We are asking a re homing fee for the high costs of traveling and bringing him to Canada. He is also fixed, has his shots (we have paperwork proof) and is litter trained!
