Inside Sales Representative

Barry-Hamel Equipment Ltd. is the largest privately owned welding supply and welding rentals company in BC. Due to expanding market share, our Victoria location is looking for a full time inside sales representative. We are located on Keating Cross Road in Saanichton. Barry-Hamel Equipment supplies welding and specialty gases, welding supplies, and welding rentals. As one of our inside sales representatives you will play a key role in working with our customers on a day-to-day basis and be required to meet our high standards of customer service. Your responsibilities will include: - provide customer service via phone, email, and direct walk-in sales - maintain the branch levels of inventory and utilize our purchasing system - process orders, documents, all other office functions - do daily cash reconciliation on point of sale machine and prepare bank deposits - be able to drive a delivery truck in a relief capacity Qualifications: - high school diploma or equal - superior organizational skills - computer experience with windows based programs and outlook email - minimum 2 years experience in an inside sales capacity - industrial sales experience very beneficial - clear driving abstract - class 3 licence with air beneficial Barry-Hamel Equipment Ltd. offers competitive pay and benefits with set schedules/hours of work.
