Magoos Child Care Center is looking for a new IT ECE to join our team! Our center: We're a preschool and Infant toddler split licensed childcare center. We're licensed for 24 on our preschool (open 6:30-5:30) and 10 on our IT (open 8-5). The primary location of this position will be in the IT Program.   Our IT program accepts children aged 8 mo-3yr so all children in program are mobile, and most are able to walk alone or with assistance. We have a large outdoor play space for the children to enjoy, and are located within walking distance of various parks and trails. We have quad strollers on site and go on multiple outings a week. The Job: You will work in collaboration with the other educators to plan and implement activities daily. We have a loose schedule that we aim to follow each day, but our program is child led so programming reflects their individual needs and interests. Our kidlets enjoy sensory activies, circle time/reading, and art. They are also big fans of eating, napping, and pooping. We believe outdoor play (just like any play) is essential to development and a great oppourtunity for learning so we get as much outdoor time as possible! We are working on creating a sheltered play space so the little ones can be more comfortable on wet days. There is lots of gross (boogers, spit up and poop) and the children have their crazy days (come on it's childcare), but I promise the fun will make up for any chaos, and the staff will get you through the tough days with a smile on your face. Our offer: -Full time (40 hours/wk) position -Extended benefits, 2 weeks vacation and paid sick leave after 3 months' probation. -participation in government ECE wage enhancement program Our center is open Monday- Friday.
